  • Leave the airport and drive to the top of the hill. At the T junction turn right at the sign for METAXATA.
  • Drive along this winding road and you will come to SVORONATA. Continue through SVORONATA until you come to the crossroads where there is a green bus shelter on your right and a small cemetery on your left.
  • Take the road to the left which bends and continues uphill through a selection of small villages.
  • When you reach KALIGATA take a left at the fork in the road, this brings you through KOURKOUMELATA and finally into METAXATA.
  • Pass through METAXATA following the signs for SKALA and POROS until you come to the crossroads at the top of the hill; you will see a sign post for ARGOSTOLI pointing left, you need to turn RIGHT here.
  • Stay on this road until you reach PERATATA, turn right at the signs for SKALA which brings you onto the main road along the South coast of the island. The sea should be on your right.
  • Look for a sign for PLATIES, once you go through the village and you will reach a large junction where the road forks once more; keep to the right following the signs for SKALA.

You are now on a straight run to SKALA, continue on and you will then drop down the hill to see your first view of KATELIOS bay.

  • Continue on the main road as it turns left at the entrance to KATELIOS and following the coastline, the next village you come to is RATZAKLI where you will be staying.
  • As you enter RATZAKLI after a series of tight bends, slowly enter the village looking to your left for the small church. Just before this is the sign that directs you to KAMANIA beach.
  • Turn down this road just before the church and you will see that you a road leading left as well as right.
  • Slowly take the left turn and follow the road down heading towards the beach until you see a turning on the left.
  • At this left turn there is currently an unfinished Villa. Take that left turn and drive approximately 50 yards and you will see the gated Villa Eirene signposted to your right.
